I've just launched the third season of the Buddha's Wisdom Podcast. I'm calling it an Anthology of the Buddha's Words. For this season I'm using the structure of the Buddha's Teachings as laid down in the book "In the Buddha's Words" by Bhikkhu Bodhi. I'll be using English translations by Bhikkhu Sujato from Sutta Central as these translations are more up-to-date and (for me, crucially) these translations are released under a Creative Commons Licence which allows for derivative works (like this podcast) to be made.

I really enjoy making these podcasts and I hope you enjoy listening to them. Whilst a big part of my aim with making this podcast is to share the Dhamma with an online audience, I also hope to keep learning (and reminding myself of) the Teachings of the Buddha which are so profound and leading onward to Awakening. I've chosen this structure for season 3 of BWP because I think a thematic approach to the teachings is really helpful. And I really liked the expert arrangement provided by Bhikkhu Bodhi. Not only does it give a beautiful outline of the Buddha's Teachings according to theme, it also digs into areas of the Samyutta Nikaya (Connected Discourses) and Anguttara Nikaya (Numbered Discourses) that are difficult to read sequentially but excellent to read in the thematic approach offered by Bhikkhu Bodhi.
Let me know what you think!
May you all attain insight and peace...
